Free Preschool! If you live in the town of Phillipsburg, your child is entitled free preschool. The only requirements are that you live in the town of Phillipsburg and your child must be 3 or 4 by Oct.1st . In addition to free preschool your child is also entitled to free breakfast, lunch, and snack daily.  As unbelievable as this may seem, free transportation is also available.  Our school follows the Phillipsburg School District calendar a our day begins at 8:15am and ends at 2:15pm.

Our classes are small.

There are a maximum of 15 children per class with a New Jersey Preschool certified teacher and assistant. Classrooms meet NJ Department of Education Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards. This environment provides learning, guidance, nurturing and positive developmental experiences.

At the core of all learning is a trusting and loving relationship.Children are exposed to skills which support their on-going social-emotional, creative, physical and cognitive development. We use the Teaching Strategies Creative Curruiculm.  This is a research based and research proven curriculum for the preschool child which promotes children's progress in all developmental areas. It is used by our early childhood educators, helping them to offer developmentally appropriate programs that support active learning.

Please join us this Thursday April 6, 2017 at the ECLC from 6pm-8pm. This is a fun time for children while parents find out everything they ever wanted to know about preschool. We will also be offering tours of our center at 239 Warren Street during the week of April 10.  Registration will be held April 27 and 28.
